London, 8/29/09

It's the weekend! The first week was extremely tiring from all the travel but the weekend is good for rest =) Wednesday afternoon Vanessa, Michael, and I went to St. Paul's Cathedral--it had the most amazing panoramic views from the top! Then last night we went to a nice Italian place (Dad--I was overwhelmed by the wine list, I wish I knew more!! Though I taught people about wine legs and airating =), you'd be so proud). After we walked all the way to Trafalgar Sqaure and Big Ben, which look so cool lit up at night! The fountains at Trafalgar even had changing color lights, like the ones in our old pool. Afterwards my feet were killing because I did all that walking in heels. Gah. Today I'm just taking it easy... maybe going on the London Eye (biggest ferris wheel you've ever seen) tonight. I wish I could post pictures of Trafalgar, but I forgot my camera, so those I'll have to get from someone else.

Other things I've done with the group: see Arcadia (a play), visit the British Museum (home of the Rosetta stone and some sweet Athenian ruins) and go in the British Library (the Henry VIII exhibit we walked through was boring, but the hand-written Beatles' lyrics were pretty cool and so was the Magna Carta!)

Looking forward, I'm excited to attend the Hillsong London church tomorrow morning and we leave for Burmingham on Monday! Then we come back to London for 10 more days, during which I hope to see Les Miserables and Chicago =)

Love you all!
